Topic: Innovation in Testing

Discovering potentials and promoting the market with innovations – This was the main idea of the first INNOV#ABEND in the NEW GLOBE CENTER. Themed Innovations in Testing our experts from 1TNC GmbH presented their work results and innovations of the testing departments. The heart of the event was the presentation entitled Test Environment of the Future: How Virtualization of ECUs is Revolutionizing Testing. This approach is being pursued by our experts at the Magdeburg research and development site, among others, under the responsibility of Florian Kamm (Head of Car Diagnostics). Together with Mario Guaia (Head of Consulting), Markus Wöhner (Head of Testing) and our students Sukreet Pal (Test Automation) and Sini Manu Sali (GUI Interface Development) they presented the challenges, problems, and solutions of tomorrow’s testing. The presentation was rounded off with the company presentation by Sandy Driesner (Commercial Portfolio Management).

Our joint brand 1TNC has been a reliable partner in the field of vehicle diagnostics since 2010. With the opening of the research and development site in Magdeburg’s old town, we have been creating additional innovation potential since 2020. In this context, we attach particular importance to the cooperation with students at the local universities. As knowledge carriers, we thereby offer valuable practical experience for the specialists of the future.

Vehicles are becoming increasingly networked – with people, with the Internet or with other technologies. The constant shift towards e-mobility, autonomous driving and the Internet of Things brings new hurdles. Companies must constantly monitor developments and create innovative solutions. In particular, the increasing complexity of control units and their test environments on, for example, elaborately constructed test racks are presenting suppliers with ever greater challenges. With the 1TNC’s ECU virtualization system and the creation of a virtual test environment, complex test scenarios and test cases can be simulated – without creating large setups and the associated costs.

Communication and knowledge exchange in the NEW GLOBE CENTER as a cornerstone for innovation

The first INNOV#ABEND in the NEW GLOBE CENTER is dedicated to communication. The NEW GLOBE CENTER as a venue is not only the business headquarters of 1TNC and other brands in the company group. As a center of communication, it also stands for knowledge transfer and knowledge exchange. Communication is just as diverse as the services that are in the NEW GLOBE CENTER. Digitalization processes are making communication with and through technology increasingly important. This also includes vehicle communication, a core element of 1TNC’s services. Communication and knowledge exchange create the sparks that can become innovative solutions to problems. We have laid the foundation for this with the first INNOV#ABEND in the NEW GLOBE CENTER. We are looking forward to many more presentations and the next INNOV#ABEND.
